I am a licensed clinical social worker with active licenses in Tennessee, Georgia, Utah, and Vermont - though my office is physically located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I have been providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults for over 15 years. I received my BA in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004, followed by my master’s degree in social work from Boston College in 2006.  In 2011, I completed a post-graduate fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis.

Throughout my career, I have provided ongoing psychotherapy in several different settings - in private practice, an urban hospital, community health centers, as well as public and private schools.

I incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques into my work - including psychoanalytic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, play therapy, and Circle of Security Parenting (COSP).  My approach is tailored to meet each person’s individual needs and goals for therapy.
